i inadvertently forgot to logout of tumblr with a new account i recently started. since i hadn’t chosen anyone to follow, tumblr filled my feed with random posts from random users all across tumblr. this picture was in my feed: 
it struck me, and i posted to twitter as @grooveshark: ‘the world is beautiful’ and a link to the photo. secret bridge messages.
i had a conversation earlier *also* over twitter, when twitter search revealed that @derekmcclain had asked his twitter-followers if anyone had an opinion on grooveshark vs. those other guys–a secret bridge message. we talked, very graciously.
a few hours later (just now) i found that our talk had inspired connection in derek, and posted about it in his blog. “it’s funny how everything ties together”–a secret bridge message. the photo i randomly connected with felt like the connection he had over our conversation felt like the connection i had with those two things “tying together”.
the last line of his blog post refers to the power of twitter. So does this one.
