How to Add Songs to One of Your Playlists

Ben Westermann-Clark November 20th, 2008

Here’s a quick little video to show you how to add songs to a playlist you already have!

How to Add Songs to an Existing Playlist from ben westermann-clark on Vimeo.

1) Find your playlists and add one to the queue.

2) Search for the songs you want and add them to the queue.

3) Click the Save button, and choose “Overwrite Existing Playlist.”

Voila!

  1. My uploads are taking more than 10 minutes to process. How can I speed this process up? It’s been an hour at this point.

  2. Hi. Good site.

  3. We are victims of the great Imeem scam, 60 webpages with 440 hours of our own recordings are destroyed with a new 30 preview rule.

Is LoanUHHH…Grooveshark a useful alternative, can we upload our 440 1 hour mp3 tracks and play them on our websites ?

  4. ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. how do i save the songs on my computer ?? =/

  6. Hi, do i have to add songs one by one to the que or is there another faster way?

  7. not works((((((((

  8. how do you add music? when i go to add music nothing comes up. :(

  9. I save playlists with music in, but it doesnt say i have any playlists yet i have two.
    Whats wrong with it?

  10. Great site. The option to ‘overwrite existing playlist’ when I am trying to add songs to a playlist is not coming up when I attempt to save a playlist - only to save as new? Even though I put the playlist at the bottom as suggested in the video?

  11. Great site, except when you click “Save queue” we don’t get the option of overwriting an existing playlist and end up having to make copies of the same playlist. Is this just a temporary bug?

  12. Can you download the songs from Groove Shark to your MP3 Player to enjoy later? Hit me up with an answer at my email address. Thanks-

  13. This doesn’t appear to work for me. It does work if I save the playlist as a new playlist, but not if I choose an existing one. It also appears to not work if I remove a song from the playlist as well.

If I over-write an existing, then go back into the playlist and play, it appears to work but if I leave Grooveshark and then come back the song is not in the queue for the playlist. The song is added to the “albums” in the playlist, but not in the “songs” of the playlist or the queue for the playlist.
