Bullet With Butterfly Wings (Morning Playlist)

Shark At Large June 18th, 2008

Smashing Pumpkins

The one where Rachel parties hard, John is having a bad day and Jack talks about the Lakers.

Rachel

Party Hard” by Andrew W.K.

Celebration“, Kool and the Gang

The Boys Are Back In Town” by Thin Lizzy

One of my best friends moved back to Gainesville today and I am beyond stoked. I apologize to my liver in advance.

Jack

At The Hop” by Devendra Banhart - I remember listening to this with Ben in his car at like 3am one night and thinking that this song was perfect.

Streetwalker” by The Delta Spirit - Skyler and I saw them open for Matt Costa last night and they completely stole the show. We watched a little of the Lakers-Celtics game outside and they seemed legitimately upset that the Lakers lost. I can’t imagine why. Don’t they know Kobe plays for L.A?

Ladies of Cambridge” by Vampire Weekend - Sure, it’s only the B-Side to Mansard Roof, but the chorus of “I’ve had dreams of Boston all of my life” seems especially important today. Go Celtics!

John

Bullet With Butterfly Wings” by Smashing Pumpkins

Useless” by Depeche Mode

7am and the day has already gone to shit.
