As if anyone cares, many of us here at Grooveshark were obsessively checking the live-blog updates at WWDC 2008 this morning, eagerly anticipating all sorts of magical new updates from Magician Jobs. While most of what Apple announced had ultimately already been covered (hence no real surprises), Grooveshark has no shortage of iPhone owners (heretofore referred to as iPhoners). Below are some reactions to the 3G iPhone announcement made earlier today.
Nathan Thompson: I’m pissed.
(Nathan’s 8GB refurbished iPhone arrived today.)
Colin Hostert: I’ll get a new one, since $800 was worth it to have a phone that made me look really cool in public for the last year.

Skyler Slade: The Snap Daddy’s gotta have his new iPhone!

JB: Make up my quote. (Editor’s Note: I made this up.)

Regardless of what they say, judging buy the general salivation happening all around the office right now, I think Apple will be receiving a couple of purchase orders from the Grooveshark Gang in the near future. What about you guys?

Still waiting for the word on Flash so I can have Grooveshark on my phone! Duh, Apple.

Yeah, we would love nothing more! Even if they implemented something as ubiquitous as Java, we’d probably be able to work something out.
Word has it that Adobe wants Apple to adopt their PDF reader in the iPhone as well as Flash, and that may have contributed to the hold up. But with secret meetings and super-private development, who knows with Apple?

JB…how could you let that picture happen?

Let’s Get Grooveshark On The iPhone!!! | The Danosphere.
please, get grooveshark on iphone, make a non flash version or an actual iphone app if possible?

I agree with others an iphone / ipod touch application would be a great thing! As I am forced to use another (similar) application Grooveshark would be my preference BY FAR. If an app is out of the question a non-flash version would be second best!
Grooveshark - by FAR the best way to listen to music on the net!
