Forever The Sickest Kids Announce New Album, Tour Plans

Jack DeYoung April 1st, 2008

Everyone’s favorite perpetually diseased rock band have announced plans to not only release a new album, but tour the nation extensively. The Dallas based 6 piece Forever The Sickest Kids have been riding the wave of a fairly substantial Myspace buzz with their infectious blend of anthemic power punk. The band parlayed the hype surrounding their initial EP by garnering a spot on last year’s Warped Tour.

The response from Warped Tour established enough momentum for Forever The Sickest Kids to return to the studio to cut their debut album Underdog Alma Mater. The album is one of those pop gems that seems destined to resonate with even the most jaded of listeners. The album’s first song “Hey Brittany” skyrocketed to popularity with a remarkable 2.5 million plays in an incredibly short time span.

Underdog Alma Mater drops on April 29th and is certainly worth a few listens. Forever The Sickest Kids are also launching a tour of the United States and we’ve listed the dates below.
