The winners will be announced on Dec. 21, and will be notified via email. We’ll overnight the top three prizes so they get there by Christmas. The 20 runner up prizes will come snail mail.
Now, like we said, this is a contest, so here’s the skinny on how to win:

Contest begins Dec. 1 @ 12:01 am.
Contest ends Dec. 20 @ midnight.

(All EST)

First of all, you have to be a registered member of Grooveshark.com.

Each Grooveshark user will have an unlimited number of invites to invite their friends through the Grooveshark system.

The person being invited must join Grooveshark, and download the Sharkbyte application which will allow them to stream any of our songs at full-length for free.

Grooveshark will provide a tracker on each user’s Grooveshark homepage that will tell them who they’ve sent invites to, who has signed up, and who has downloaded and installed Sharkbyte.

Winners are determined by the most number of friends who go through the entire sign-up process.

One very important thing to remember:

The person must join via the invite you sent them for us to keep track. So if you tell your buddy at a party, make sure you send him an invite instead of him just going to Grooveshark himself and signing up.

Grooveshark employees are not eligible to participate in this contest.

We also have this contest posted as an event on Facebook under the same name, so be sure to invite all your Facebook friends.
