Apparently TorrentFreak hates DRM as much as we do. In fact they dislike it so much, they teamed up with Beautiful Crime to create an Anti-DRM T-Shirt Design Contest. All of the designs are great, but we wanted to give you a top six list and our reasons for choosing them.
1. Is there a better way to describe DRM?
2. Let’s face it. DRM makes buying music complicated. And well, a wall complicates things.
3. DRM was outdated the moment it was created. Kind of like every top 6 list on the Internet.
4. If the RIAA had its way, everyone would be listening to music in tiny soundproof cubicles (while wearing headphones).
5. DRM doesn’t just hurt consumers. It also hurts the artists who just want to get their music to their fans, without locks on their face.
6. Killing care bears is wrong. Period.
